First, I want to thank all of you for your patience. It takes time to perfect a product and we appreciate you allowing us that time to perfect the XD45ACP magwell. In short, we are very pleased with the end-product and because of the longer frame on this XD, it feels very good in the hand.

Since the design is done, we will start taking order this coming Monday. We will accept orders for both the black aluminum and stainless steel versions. The pricing for the SS version will be finalized this weekend. Any and all orders will start shipping out on the 45ACP version on or before May 23rd.

Thanks for the update, I noticed on pg.com it allows you the option to order the unlimited in 45acp already, is that an error or can i go ahead and place my order today? If not I'm currently in Oakbrook can I just drive by and pick up a prototype?

The options are there but no quantity. If you try to order, it will say they are out of stock. Monday that message will change.

Of course SS is harder than Aluminum. That said, my Aluminum magwells have been holding up very well and have hours of dry-fire and match reloads on them.

Many like SS because of the weight. Other like the finish and look of the SS.

The SS version? Don't know, as I have not seen them yet. They are going to be just like the AL version, but made from SS.
