D'oh! I guess I'll be hitting up PG for a 9mm mag or 2. If I'm going to throw in a new spring, (to use with the 9) should I go 20# or lower?

I have to agree with SPCkeishou, the conversion bbl is pretty accurate. I had a better score than with the stock .40, even counting shaking out every other round.

Get that psychic shipping ready, I'll be ordering in a few days.

Factory 9MM ammo is still quite hot, so a 20# spring should work. You should shoot with your stock assemble too, to see if there is any difference in performance.

I do agree that the accuracy of our conversion barrels are much better than others currently available. It was part of the master plan.

When you take it our for testing, you best put some vasoline on your lips, because I would hate to have your big smile crack the skin. That can get ugly and is painful.

Well, went to the range again... shot pretty good again. Went through 95 rnds... here's the best shooting:



Only concern was that I had a total of 4 FTEs Same WWB ammo... Still using DRG with the 20# spring... This is the first time I've encounter an FTE since shooting early Feb... Next trip to the range, I'll use the stock spring setup and see how it goes... then will try the stock .40 barrel with the DRG and see the out come.

It seems that you are jerking the trigger. What distance were you shooting and was it slow fire?

As for the FTE, try another ammo brand too.

Well, I'm still a noob, only been shooting since Feb of this year... When I went to this last shooting it was close to closing time for the range, but the range master went ahead and let me in. He did supervise and commented that my stance and grip was pretty good. I'm pretty sure that I've been pulling/squeezing the trigger in a slow and smooth flow (Just as I would in shooting a rifle). It was slow fire at a distance of just past 7 yards. He also commented that the rear sight maybe off... No one else, that is experieced, has shot my XD so I have no comparison. Maybe next time I head out to the range, I'll ask the range master to fire off a few rounds just to see if it's sights or just me.
