Gun Butter question.....

Hey fellas. Long time no post here! Sorry about that.
I'm curious about the gun butter stuff that I've used on my pistols for years now.....on the rails, block..etc...
Would this stuff work ok for where it says "apply grease here" on new rifles..? instead of thick grease...

I am new to guns and so I pose the question of : What is Gun Butter and what does it do? Is it really good stuff?-- I apologize for hijacking if this causes a tangent topic within your thread.

You can use GunButter anywhere that calls for oil or grease. It is great on both rifles and handguns.

It's only the greatest gun lubricant ever. Period.

I bought a bottle for my pistols whenever I first got into XD's....now I use it on all of my pistols. It sticks where I put it...dust/fouling doesn't stick to it either. It wipes clean with just a q-tip when cleaning time comes....
I bought a new bolt action rifle yesterday...and upon reading the manual it has "apply grease here" sections on it, when cleaning time comes.
It already has factory grease in spots....and even being brand spankin new it's collecting dust/fuzz.
I wanted to find out about going ahead and using the bottle of gun butter that I have as a replacement as "quality grease".
Thanks Old School.....

No, No, No . . . . here's what you do. Go get some BreakFree CLP to clean and degrease your weapon AND THEN . . . . . use Gun Butter.

It truly is the best I've found. But, I've only been shooting for 20 or 30 years, so you might want to get a second opinion.
