Laz, Dont get me wrong the sig is a good weapon, you just have to find what suits you. I know for a fact that sigs customer service is horrible, aleast use to be. I have fired many differnt kinds of hand guns I think the XD just fits my hand better. expecially compaired to a glock...

Ford I didn't mean for my words to be taken the wrong way. I didn mean to neglect personal preference but if you want to know what's the better overall gun, its a Sig. Fit, finish and reliability is better than the XD. Granted their customer service isn't the best and neither is HK but those two companies are in a league slightly above XD and Glock. Theres a reason why they cost 200-300 more and theres a reason why they are used but federal, state and local LE agencies. Again this is my opinion, YMMV and it sounds like I gotta get me some of this butta.

Laz,

wasnt taken the wrong way at all, just thought I would give you some crap ( all in fun) about glocks. Each person will handle a fire differently just have to find what fits you.

+1. I plan on adding a Sig or two and a HK or two to my collection.

Yep. I like the XD vs the G17 or G19 but I like the G26 vs the XDSC.

Just because you paid too much for your Sig, doesn't mean your XD has to pay for it.
My life doesn't depend on my XD everyday, it depends on my Sig. (Duty gun)
My XD runs fine on Rem Oil or even (gasp!) dry, but you need to keep the Sigs pretty wet...

kayl,

I hope you know I was just razzin' for fun. Although I'm sure it doesn't need to be said, Sig's and HK's are great guns . . . they don't fit me well, but I like em. I'm also coming from a 1911 mindset and the XD is the best transition I've experienced yet. Thanks for your service.

. . . let's be careful out there . . . (Hill Street Blues)

Arrow

I use it on all of my guns, weather it's a handgun, rifle, shotgun, or water gun

So I'd say yes Feel free to use it!
