Crap! Thanks for reminding me of how old I am. I started thinking and I've been shooting for over 30 yrs

Might have to order some to try out on my Sig p220 and inbound p245; my XD functions fine with Rem Oil, but I want something better for my Sigs

Why wouldn't you want the best for your XD?

Just because you paid too much for your Sig, doesn't mean your XD has to pay for it.

I would take an XD over a Sig any day of the week.

Rem Oil will seem like LocTite when you first try Gunbutter. I am completely sold on this stuff!

Another great quality is that you can see where you've put it! Helps prevent overuse.

I laugh at anyone who even thinks a XD is better than a Sig.

Don't have an XD yet but I use GB on two 1911s - SA Mil-Spec and S1 Kimber Compact Stainless. May be my imagination but racking the slides now is noticeably more slick - "snick snick" vs "clack clack." Even the grip safety seems smoother.

Now I'm thinking of using GB on all my other pistols and rifles. GB for lube then hose the rest down with Sheath (works great). FWIW, I clean with Hoppe's because it's good enuff and I love the aroma.

Anybody use Ballistol?
