We are not sure if SS is going to be an option. If we get enough calls for them, we may do a special run in stainless steel. For now, aluminum in black is our intent.

If you got to my first post in this thread, I give you an idea of the difference between the to models. The Operator is an IDPA legal version that is good for all, including Law Enforcement. The UnLimited is going to be BIG, a perfect option for USPSA shooters.

Looks great so far! Will the XD stock magwell need to be beveled to match or flow evenly into the well of the funnel? Or will the Magwell match up with the stock opening?

We are trying to get the funnel of the magwell to match the funnel on the frame. Since we are looking for a finished product that will allow someone to use the stock basepads, etc. this is going to be tricky, considering how the stock pads, the AGP and Arredondo extensions marry to the frame. In the end, we suspect that the angles will be close, and for those who want the angles to be 100%, a bit of finish work with a Dremel or file on the frame will be required, in order to knock off a few corners.

That sounds great. If someone is putting this magwell on their gun then I don't suspect they will be taking it off an on repeatedly. I'll take functionality over how it looks on the inside. Keep the Pics coming!

In the end, any work that you need to do in order to 100% the transistion will not be seen unless you are looking under the frame with the magwell removed.

I believe you are correct when you say that this will not be a part that you put on and off often. Once on, it will stay on for most.

You can have any color you want, as long as it is black.
