I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the 45 ACP grips, but was wondering how, if at all, the laser grips affects which style holster you will need to use.
Will the XD still fit into any holster, whether leather or otherwise (SERPA) with the CTC's on it? I'd love to see some pictures, both holstered and not, if anyone has them on their XD's. |

This is the main reason I'm wanting a lefty version. I have a SuperTuck, and that laser will pose a problem when trying to carry with the leather backing on the SuperTuck.

Tried it at the gun show this weekend. Thumb forward grip blocks the laser for a lefty.

I have some pics but I am not sure how to post them, I tried and it kept asking for a URL for the image. All I can say is it is not in the way of anything. AND at 7 yards my factory XD service sights were a little to the right of dead center(or me). I placed the Grip on and shot the rest of my mag and was dead on!!! I have a pic to prove it but again cannot figure out out to post..

I wish aftermarket companies would realize they are throwing away 12% more profit by not thinking about us. Lasermax's guide rod line will get my business.

I'm a lefty but i shoot right, also. I haven't noticed any problems with my ct lasers on 2 revolvers I own. And I did own a kimber ultra carry II with CT and it worked also. I guess my big-ol thumb is seated low enough. Thanks for the info though, something else to keep an eye on when .45 acp grip comes out.

The difference between left handed grips that work and those that don't is probably thumbs forward v thumbs over.
