drop in barrel question

I was just curious if this is normal but i noticed that my drop in barrel seems a lot looser then the stock one. it has more play front to back and if you use a twisting motion it has side to side play also. I just wanted to check and make sure that is ok

How does it shoot in comparison to the stock barrel?

My bbl fits like a glove. Tight in all directions.... so tight that I can't shot SWC through it. Have to use LRN. But I love it... Great shooting.

well it is definitely looser then the stock barrel. the first two times i went shooing with it in, were improved from stock. but the last two trips to the range have been really bad. I shot better the first time i ever handled a gun compared to my last couple trips, and i have not changed anything about my shooting. i should note i mean its really loose when the slide is locked back. and i know that the stock barrel was also loose but the dropin definitely is looser when the slide is locked back. it seems to be fairly tight when the slide is not locked back though. i dont know lol i may just be crazy and had an off day.

When the barrel is in the gun and the slide is close as if you are going to shoot, is the barrel loose or tight? In essence, when the gun is in battery, is it loose?

When the slide is locked back, as an example, once the mag goes empty, the barrel should be loose.
