The question is: Does she want just any pink gun, or a certain pink gun? Color won't mean much if she finds another firearm fits her better, she decides she wants a better stopping round, etc.

I still need to spend time talking about specifics with my fiance (soon to be wife on Jun 19), but it's looking like she is leaning towards a Black/pink HK USP I brought her to the range on ladies night and she got free rentals, so I had her try fullsize 9mms: Glock, Beretta, Sig, and HK in random order. With no bias and little gun knowledge she singled out the HK USP as fitting the best and having the best perceived recoil, which I thought was interesting.

I know she has good taste, so I guess it is no wonder she managed to select the most expensive of the bunch. I just wish I could find an inexpensive HK

this is a great approach!

i'm glad though i didn't have to go to this length. my wife decided she didn't mind shooting, but had to find a caliber that fit her better than my .45 sig p220. she shot several others and arrived at the .22 lr being one of her favorites. then i found her a 9mm in the xd9 sc. bought it for her birthday and she absolutely LOVES it! i wanted her to have something in the way of the 9mm for use as sport or self defense.

i'm so excited now because she too now asks me when we're going shooting again (often!)

That kicks ass!
The color on the slide is a bit muted. If the colors can be layered then the pink shot over light color may come out brighter. If you are gonna come out of the closet you might as well flame!

I think there is a market for this. But for now your wife has the only one in the world!

She loves the gun and color. The holster is bright, however the finish is more of a "dusty rose" (her words, not mine). She has only taken it to the range twice, however next year she agreed to shot IDPA with me next year. That is going to be great.

Careful or you'll get her hooked. Next she'll want a matching pink AR-15 or something!!

Naw. She doesn't like shooting that much, or atleast, not yet. Next Summer she is going to make an effort with the gun, to see if she likes it. This year, she has shot it only once.
