Nice. I'm lucky enough to have a fiancee who enjoys shooting already. Went to the range for the 1st time with her and her dad gave her a .22 revolver to shoot. I let her shoot my XD40. After that, she didn't want to shoot the .22 anymore.

Is that just a normal Bladetech belt holster or a D&O, and how does your wife like it?

That's definitely a bright gun, but would be something my fiance would like as well (except maybe in purple)!

She loves the color and the fit. It is much better than a normal holster for her, because of how a woman's body is.

So for clarification is the holster a regular Bladetech belt holster?

Is pink considered a custom color from rich (I don't see it listed with the 14 choices of colors)?

Finally, not to undermine your work going to great lengths for the custom gun, but are you concerned about the Pink Gun Kote wearing at all? I remember from a while back your Sand/OD XD made you wish you had the factory finish back I'm very seriously considering a project like yours.

Thanks,

I am not concerned about the finish at all. The finish is good, as long as you don't drag a sharp edge along it, like the take down lever (which is what I did on my sand colored XD-40). All that said, even being pink, it is still a "combat" style firearm.

I don't think it is a custom color, however Rich did have to request it.

Finally, the Blade-Tech holster is a regular holster, however the request for pink was a premium.

Scott it is amazing how hung up on color women can be. My wife is looking for a pink gun as well. She doesn't like black and isn't shy about letting me know that. I have been thinking about getting her a .22 pistols I just have to decide which one.
