Xmas gift for myself
Well Im looking to buy myself an xmas gift so I figure it could be for my new xd 9mm. Now my question is, is it a bad idea to buy the drop in barrel and the dons guide rod if Im a new shooter? should I just wait till a later date? Or will this improve my shooting now only having been out shooting twice.

It is up to you and tough for us to say. My wife is a new shooter and we have our barrel in her gun. We went with the drop-in barrel and it prints better than the stock barrel did. Is it worth it? It was to me, since she had no idea that I did the swap and she was impressed with the group.

Well I'm going to order it then. I just wanted to know if it was stupid to get as a new shooter. Thanks for the fast response : ) Oh and final question it may be dumb but how it says the tactical will fit the service? now if in the selection I pick the service model is it going to fit without extending past the slide?

Wow you guys are quick lol. Im hoping to maybe go down to stonewall with a couple people that said they would meet me down there. Im thinkin more after xmas though cuz everyone is busy for the holidays probably.
