Per the good folks at Pearce, the tooling is complete and they look to have the first shot done towards the end of the month with samples available in early January. If all goes as planned, they expect to have the finished product available at SHOT 2008 with dealers getting access in early February.

Is it just a finger extension, or does it allow more rounds?

No capacity with this extension. At SHOT, Pearce will be asking dealers their opinion if a +1 or +2 extension would be a viable option, since tooling is very expensive.
