AGP Mag Extension just added!

For those who are not aware, AGP Arms out of Tempe, AZ just released magazine extension for both the XD9/40 and the XD45 tubes. Although you may say to yourself, "Oh, look. More of the same." I say take another look.

What is nice about these extension is that they each include a steel locking plate. The benefit of the plate is to keep the basepad in place when it hits the ground.

Another nice feature is the extension's length. Unlike the others who were trying to keep within the 140mm length, making that last round nearly if not impossible to load, AGP Arms decided that they wanted their customers to get the most out of the extensions. The added length makes loading much easier on the thumb, although we suggest the use of a loader.

With the help of a UpLULA, our testing has shown that we can get the following:
In a 16RND 9x19 Mag: 21 Rounds (+5)
In a 13RND 45ACP Mag: 17 Rounds (+4)
In a 12RND 40S&W Mag: 15 Rounds (+3)
In a 9RND XD40SC Mag: 13 Rounds (+4)

All in all, for the money, this is a great little product. The extensions have fed reliably and the 45ACP version includes an extra-power spring for reliable feeding.

XD9/40 version: http://pistolgear.com/proddetail.php?prod=29AGP1
XD45ACP version: http://pistolgear.com/proddetail.php?prod=29AGP2

Regards,
OS

Do they work with the magazine extenders for a 40 subcompact?

Are you asking if they will fit the XD40SC magazines?

Yes, they will fit the XDSC40 mags too.

With the UpLULA, I was able to get 13 rounds into a XD40 9RND magazine.

Adding them to a resticted magazine would be a bad move.

The first batch is due in on Monday of next week. We will start taking orders at that time.
