Avalability of XD-45ACP skinny guide rod?

I want to get the skinny guide rod setup for my XD-45ACP. I want to play with lighter springs and real light loads and see if I can get it to run. There is no option to sign up for an email notification on the guide rods. Let me know when you get them in I want one and a few of the really light recoil springs.

Thanks
mcb

Thanks OS,

I think it was saying out of stock was because I was trying to order it will a 14# spring. When I selected an #18 spring it said it was in-stock.

When will you be getting some #14 spring in? I have a few #16 pound springs I have been running in my XD-40 Tactical and I will try those in the XD-45ACP but would also like to try a #14 in both guns just to see if a spring that light can strip the rounds out of the magazine and get it in battery.

I'm try to make the XD-45ACP into a production gun. I am going to try as light a recoil spring as I can and still reliably strip rounds out of the magazine and get it in battery against the striker spring. Once I have that figured out I will then start working up from a very low powder charge until the XD-45ACP cycles reliably. I would love to get down to about a 135PF but I think I am going to get stuck up around 145-150 to get it to work. I shot some 200gr SWC loaded to ~155PF and they frequently failed to eject with the stock guide rod and spring.

Thanks
mcb

I don't yet have a date from Sprinco on the springs. I will see if I can get one today.
