Why did I get an extra spring?
Hello,

I purchased Don's Guide Rod and a 22 lb. spring, but got an extra spring as well!

It looks like a striker spring...do I really need it, or is this just a bonus?

It is a striker spring for a 1911, not to be used in a XD. If you have a 1911, it is a bonus.
