Now I have a question on this holster, is there anything I can use on the inside of this holster to allow the pistol to come out easier?

Thanks

I used baseball glove oil.

A good way to speed up the process of stretching the leather is to place the gun in a few plastic grocery bags and leave the gun in place for several hours. Baseball glove oil will help to soften the leather.

is it a good thing to soften the leather though? will it cause it to lose its formed fit? I have often thought about doing this to a few of my leather holsters and they are very hard.

I would only do it as a last resort. A little water on the leather won't hurt much. A good trick is to insert the gun in a few plastic garbage bags, wipe the leather down with some warm water and let it sit and dry. Repeat as required.
