Just installed my springs today and it really makes a difference. If I ever get into competition, I'll get the trigger bar and sear. I'm sure the shipping was fast, but I was on vacation at the time. My only question to OS is why ship such a small package in such a big box?

Forgive me if this has been asked already, but how will these springs affect a pistol that has already had a Canyon Creek Trigger Job?
I like my pull weight where it's at and I don't want a 3# trigger on my XD.

Because we ship Priority Mail and that is the smallest box that we stock.

Best ask that to Rich directly. Sorry, I don't have an answer to that question.

Question about my new springs.
I installed the cayon creek spring kit in my 45 tactical and during my first trip back to the range I shot a hundred rounds and stopped because I was having a strange problem; my gun failed to cock 10 times; 6 x's mid. way through the mag. (it fired, chambered the next round, but was not cocked when it retured to battery), and 4 x's when I released the slide lock (twice in a row after reloading and trying again). It cycled, feed the rounds, and fired, just would not cock occasionally. I've never had any problems with my XD, so this isn't a recuring problem. I used the dissably guide from www.xd-hs2000.com and have rechecked my work and I don't think it's put together incorrectly (I think it would not work at all if that were the case). Is it the sear spring? Would putting just the original sear spring back fix this? Should I wait and shoot it more and let it break-in?

try this take the slide off and pull the trigger and push down on the trigger bar where the pab sticks up above the frame and the sear should reset if it doesnt the sear spring is most likely the problem however you dont have to go back to stock read my thread on my problem my problems with the springer sear i polished all of the parts in the sear assembly and it works great now |

I'm messin' with dry-firing, locking the slide and releasing, and it's still failing to cock sometimes. I haven't switched the spring back yet, but I'm going to wait till I go back to the range. If that doesn't work I'm going to cry, then do what you suggested.

I have a stock sear but I recently installed the canyon creek spring kit. My problem is not with striking or firing a round, it's that frequently it will fail to even cock the striker at all. Sometimes when I release the slide and sometimes mid. mag. (it fires, loads next round as it returns to battery, but is not cocked). I think it may be that the sear spring is not holding. I'm going to try putting the stock one back next time I go to the range to see if that's the problem. Any input would be appreciated.
