357 sig SC barrel?

I know it might cost a little extra, but would it be possible for you all to make a 357 sig conversion barrel in the Sub compact length? That is assuming that the service, tactical, and SC barrels are the same except for the length....

The XDSC barrel design differs from the rest. We would like to create a .357SIG barrel for the XDSC40, but it is a couple of months out. Some are concerned of the pressures in the little gun. We have not researched it enough yet.

I'll be looking out for that too. I'd love to shoot sig out of my subby. Can you post something whenever you put them on the market?

I was talking to an expert today and he was of the opinion that the XDSC is not capable of handling the .357SIG and suggested against the barrel. He felt the round was too hot and did think the frame would hold up over time.

What's interesting is the SA does make a magazine for the .357SIG caliber, for the XDSC. A mystery...

Hmmm... I can't see how the the XDsc couldn't handle 357 long term. The XD platform is rock solid. If other manufacturers (glock & sig) can squeeze 357 into mini guns, why can't springfield?

A great question. I wish I had the answer or access to the person with the answer.

Aren't the magazines for the .40 and .357 Sig exactly the same?

And is there really that much difference in .40 and .357 Sig as far as pressures? Someone help me out here. I thought the .40 was a higher pressure round to begin with, so making the switch to .357 wasn't that much of a change.
