Tungsten Oversize Button for XD (pics)
Guys & Gals,
Rich at Canyon Creek is considering a special run of Over-sized Mag Release Buttons for the XD, made from Tungsten. The prototype of the button is below; see pics. It weighs 320 grains / 20 grams / .7 ounces approximately. The idea of a Tungsten Button is to add more weight to the frame of the gun. Will it make a difference with recoil? Maybe. The button is big and the circle cuts on both ends are aggressive. EDIT: Target price is $45! OS ![]()

Interested if it's not super expensive. I like the old vertical lines of the first canyon creek extended release personally.

Interested-Pending Cost
I would more than likely be interested. Let me know a price.

Any chance we could get one of the "normal" extended buttons in Tungsten? I mean, for those of us who can't use big buttons?
I'm not sure if it'd even be worth it without the big head on it, but... You know... |
