I'm looking forward to seeing the tungsten oversize magazine buttons released for sale. I see now that the tungsten guide rods are sold out. Any idea when they'll be back in stock?

Mines enroute we'll have to see how it stacks up against the NHO Release. It already has one up considering my NHO doesn't have the opposite side release (right) for ambi...... you know. Review coming soon.

Glad you like. I agree, they are very nice. How about a pic showing off the goods?

Definately an upgrade. Glad to see the button back on the right side of the gun again. Since my NHO didn't have one, but they both rule. Heavy duty little bugger. Should last longer than the gun. In other words, awesome product.

I received my tungsten magazine release a couple of days ago and I just installed it on my XD 45 Tactical this afternoon. I feel the difference in weight but not terribly so. The button is big and its circular cuts add grip. I wasn't looking at it from a grip perspective but it does make it easier to hit the button when releasing a magazine.

If I'm not mistaken, it seems like this magazine release button has added length to both sides . It makes hitting the button from either side a bit easier. The over sized end of the button is easy to reach and easy to use.

This tungsten mag release button is a vast improvement over the stock mag release. It's easier to reach and use. I wasn't necessarily looking to add ornamentation and gleam to my XD but this button accomplishes that task too. It's a good-looking mag release button and I like the way it makes my gun feel in my hand.

I haven't taken my gun out to shoot since I installed the new mag release and so I can't comment on whether or not it affects recoil. I just bought the tungsten guide rod for my 45 and so I'll probably take my gun out to the range once the new rod arrives here.

The mag release button wasn't difficult to install and I managed to do it even though I'm disabled. If you've got two good hands it only takes a few minutes to install this button. If you don't know how to do the install and you really want to do it yourself I suggest watching the video tutorial and follow it carefully and slowly.

Here are some pictures of the installed mag release button...

For all of you Tungsten button owners, if you would like to offer your comments for the benefit of others, you can post a review on our site. This goes for any product purchased from PistolGear. You need only go the products page.

If you could take a second to do so, we would be grateful.
