NEW Magazine Springs from Arredondo!

We just received some of Arredondo's new Mag Springs for the XD, for testing. When coupled with the NHO Base Pad, loading 15 rounds of 40SW is no problem. The magazine seats in the gun and the rounds feed with no worries. We will test them on the range this weekend. If all goes as planned, we will have them in stock by the end of the month!

Who needs new springs? Someone using extended basepad or someone with old, wimpy mag springs.

Are these springs specs different than stock length? When I use the extended base pad with the stock spring the slide does not always lock back after the last round has been fired. I would certainly be interested if these springs would remedy that problem.

Thank

It may fix the problem. Won't know until you give them a try. They are longer than the stock spring.

The spring will fit both 9/40 & 45ACP full length magazine tubes.

I had the same problem with locking back. If this fixes the problem then sign me up. I felt pretty stupid when my XD went click in the middle of a match.(should have known it was empty though)

I did some testing with them this weekend and they seem to work well with the extensions. I have never had an issue with going to slide lock, so I don't know if these will help of not.

Per Arredondo, he hopes to have them available towards the end of the month. They will most likely be sold in packs of 3 and 10.

Ill be getting some as soon as you give word. My regular spring caused a few failure to feed's when it was on its last round. Now it dosn't do it anymore. Its possible the stock spring streched itself out but better to be safe than sorry.

Question

I assume these are being made for the Arredondo base pad. But will also work with the NHO base pad correct?
