Need a pistolsmith who knows the XD?

Are you looking for an experienced pistolsmith who knows the XD? Someone to turn your stock XD into a performance machine that will rival Robby's? Maybe someone to install your new sights or to refinish your slide?

In any case, we have found the right shop for the job!

Where is Canyon Creek? I live in Kalifornia and shipping firearms is a pain.

They are in IL. If you are sending your gun in for service, you should be able to overnight it via UPS without any issue. Give Rich a call and discuss it with him, as he knows the details and methods that are easiest for you.

I know he has done several triggers for guys who frequent this forum. From what I heard, they are all very happy with the results and speed of CC's work.

Could one simply send the slide in to Canyon Creek? Making shipping a bit easier since it is only a part of a handgun, being nowhere near functional.

Sure you can. To have sights installed? Rich will need the lower/frame if you are looking to have the trigger done.

All kinds of things:

Over travel stop - Stops the trigger from moving rearward after the sear is released.

Reset - Is the distance the trigger has to move forward so another round can be fired.

With the trigger job with reset/overtravel, the trigger will move about a 1/4", not the standard 2ft. of a stock XD.

Reducing trigger pull - Not sure what stock pull is, but a good trigger job can reduce pull down to 3-3.5 pounds. Plus, just about every trigger job I have had, both rifle and pistol, will provide a smoother pull as well.

Being that all guns are now test fired, I am sure he now wants the entire gun. Rich can tell you for sure, what he needs.
