So how much would a nose and boob job cost?

On the serious side, my two biggest gripes about the XD are the 2' trigger pull (my cheapass hipoint is downright crisp compared to the xd) and the bland sights. If I wanted something akin to the suresights or an entry level night sight, plus a tightening up of the flab on the trigger, what would it run me?

Enjoying my XD .45ACP Tactical. need to break in my 870, and my wife's XDSC9.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

HDR, Homeland Defense Rifle

Two feet is a might long trigger pull. To get your questions answered, you are best to contact Rich at www.canyoncreekcustom.com, as he will be doing the work and can discuss the details.

I think it was Rich that installed my Tru-glo sights a couple of years ago on my XD40 but I can't find his website or even if he has one. I want to get some Tru-Glo sights installed on my XD45 so if someone has his website or contact number I would appreciate it.

4 Shizzo! This place is FULL of gun stores, you'd figure there would be at least a few competent smiths that readily work on this platform out here... Sheesh, those FedEx/UPS shipping rate need to come with a free tube of vaseline...

Not that it's any better price or qualitywise than Springer or Canyon Creek, but I'd thought i'd throw the info out there for all you So. Fla cats anyway:
I had called GunDepot Customs (Hialeah, So.FL) about 2 weeks ago to ask about XD trigger jobs since I'd had a TFO install on my XD done there before. They said they could do it, but the labor would be roughly $170-180 + cost of parts (which they don't readily stock; ~2 week turnaround).

I always tell folks that is you save $50 and get a hack-job trigger job in the end, what have you gained. The product that both Rich and Scott put out are excellent and worthy of the shipping expenses, IMHO.

As is Daniel's at Powder River. Best engineering design, IMHO. But, it takes getting used to.

I had Canyon Greek do a trigger job to my XD9 Tactical . What an awesome job Rich did. I now have the gun up for sale. If I ever buy another XD I will have Rich do a trigger job for me.
