Hooz - Once you've run some rounds through your XD after installing the kit I'd like to hear your opinion on how well it works.

I'm hoping to get it put in my SC this weekend. I got mine directly from Springer (before I knew PG would carry them), and I paid the extra $5 for the polishing.
Now I just need to figure out what I want to do about my trigger-bar. |

Just got home, so I thought I'd take/post a picture. I'll add more when I put it in my XD-9SC... Hopefully this weekend.
Scott (at Springer Precision) recommends polishing the contact points on the sear, but since I'd rather leave that up to a compentent 'smith, I had him do it for an extra $5. You can see the three spots that he polished in the picture below.

So whats the difference in this upgrade kit, and getting a trigger job on it for less pull?

It won't be as good as a full-blown, custom fit trigger job from a reputable 'smith, but it'll be a whole helluva lot cheaper. Especially when you factor in the extra $75 in FedEx charges to send your gun back-and-forth to the shop. |

This kit is for the 9mm/40/.357.
The trigger return spring for the .45 is coming, but not in. |
