This is true, that's why some merchants don't support AmEx.

I'm a supervisor for American Express by the way, what kinda card do you have?

I have a amex business card and about the only place I can use it is at the fuel pump which is good cause I use alot of fuel but its a pain with how much I front funds cause they wont accept amex. but hey its all good, untell i'm 6k miles away low on money and the merchant wont take my business card.

there are lots of places that also say there is a 15% sur charge on all amex purchases i'm sure thats cause of the high fees they have to pay.

my company dosnt accept any cards or checks for our services its cash or nothing.

There's actually several types of Gold Card, including the Charge and Lending cards. Maybe the Prefered Rewards Card? Rewards Plus Gold Card maybe?

If you ever need to know anything about your card, even some "tricks", lemme know.

Enjoying my XD .45ACP Tactical. need to break in my 870, and my wife's XDSC9.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

HDR, Homeland Defense Rifle

Your cards actually have a ton of benefits, I'm sure you are only aware of a few of them. Things like Roadside assistence, or Buyers assurance which extends warranties on stuff you buy.

Call the number on the back of your card and tell them to send you a mailer on the benefits of your card and look through them. We have a database that lists off the benefits of every card, call them up and ask for the list and details on each one. I'm sure there'll be things in there you didn't know about. Just have them mail it to you, yes it's free. Also check our www.americanexpress.com. The PRG card is pretty sick, did you know you can get the headsup and specials on things like concerts?

Also, as for getting something on your card, call them and ask for getting hooked up with Membership Rewards. It's a program that can be added to charge cards like yours and get things in return, things like points for flights, hotel stays, or even cash back. Hell, you could use them for tickets to a basketball game if you wanted.

Believe me, Amex hooks you up with the stuff you get/can get. Sometimes, it's a little crazy what Amex will do for it's Cardmembers.

Send me an AIM, we'll talk some more. AIM: Achilles2k1
