OK. So we received our new video camera and I had an hour to burn. The lighting in the shop is not very good for video it seems and my "acting" is equally bad.

That said, I think the video will be helpful to those with questions. Let me know your thoughts. We intend to make many more.

Great tutorial. I think more of these are needed. People talk about this or that on here, and say in words what they're doing, but with high speed connections, this type of video training is really great. Actually seeing with actions makes it very clear.

Quick question about the gun in the video, in the beginning when you checked to make sure the gun was clear, it looked like it was very easy to slide the slide back, almost too easy. My XD9 seems like it takes full force to slide the slide back, with a really strong grip. Is there a different spring in your slide, or is it stock? Just trying to figure out why my slide is so rigid.

You need to remember, I am one strong/tough SOB. Really, it is a 16# spring and the oval cuts give you a good grip surface. It was as much about pushing the frame forward than it was pulling the slide back. The push is easier than the pull, as they say.

You do realize that a 15mm punch is going to be about a half-inch not 1/16 inch, right?

I know, I messed up. It is 1.5mm and I was hoping that the metric system would not come into play.

I am going to redo the video, as soon as I get better lighting. I will get it right then.
