Are XD 40 and XD .357 Sig mags interchangeable?
I am planning to convert my XD40 Svs. to .357 Sig. Can I use my XD40 mags for both - even for carry? Thanks.

The only negative with converting XD40 to .357 Sig particularly if you want to carry, is that your sights are going to be off (on an XDService) about 3 inches at 25 yards (low). Combat distances of less than 15 yards shouldn't cause too much of a problem. In the case of the XD subcompact and the Glock Mini G27, your existing XD40 sights should be ok.
Right now, I am considering just getting a Lone Wolf or a Glock33 OEM barrel and instlling it in my G27. Both are completely drop-in, no fitting required, and no need to change sights. Yes, to a little MV loss out of the short G33 barrel but what the heck. Still better ballistics than the .40SW and a lot of fun to shoot. A Lone Wolf ported .357 Sig conversion barrel would be particularly nice to reduce muzzle flip somewhat.
