We will need to research this further. For one reason or another, it was added to the list. I know many retailers restrict FULL CAP mag sales to that part of the country.

Used my ZEMS at my match last weekend. Worked great over a cap! Reduced sound better, it seems than my muffs, but less than "double pluggin" which gets uncomfortable for me after awhile. Also, with the movement, switching between handgun and shotgun during stages, etc., they worked perfectly! I'm wearing them from now on during matches. Absolutely no issues with hearing range commands, etc.

Has anyone had an issue with range masters at indoor ranges not allowing the ZEMs? When I went to qualify for my CFP, the range master looked at the ZEMs and told me they would not fly in the range. I was force to use inhouse over ear muffs instead.

Short answer, insurance and lawyers. If they are gonna get sued cause some dude claims he lost his hearing, they are going to have to defend themselves. That is why a lot of indoor ranges require you use their eyes and ears.

What!? That is a joke. They require ear protection, period. The man is an ignorant individual, that is for sure. I bet the Zems would protect you better than his "house" ears. Once you put muffs over glasses, you loose about 25% of the protection...

Zems

I don't think a lot of these, they don't do enough for me. I've gone back to regular muffs for shooting. I double up when shooting magnums. The Zems have been relegated to lawn mowing.

Ditto. I tried them at the indoor range. Put them on as snug as possible, chambered a round, squeezed the trigger, bang! Both ears ringing. Never again.

Its funny. I get e-mail from people who tell me the ZEMS are the greatest thing ever and a few who feel the product does not deliver. The only thing I can think of is that ones anatomy varies from another so much that it helps one person and not the other. I have been using ZEMS exclusively, both indoors and out, for nearly two years. I love them-no more swollen/sore ears after a four hour match.

Do these come with the carry case? I just checked the website you listed, but it says no product.

The carry case is on optional product that we don't carry. Since they fold up, I am not sure the case it required.
