Applying the Blue Wonder Armadillo question

Ok, what do I need to do before applying the Blue Wonder Armadillo?

Try a search for more detail. There are probably 8-10 threads on this.

It seems that the consensus is that either heating the Armadillo or the slide first are the preferred methods for applying this. ***Caution*** Armadillo is flammable, so be careful!!!

For starters, you want to wipe down you slide with a light oil, like Disotec XFR. Give the oil a few minutes to penetrate the pores of the metal. Wipe of the excess oil.

Take a wash cloth and run it under hot water and wring out. Take the wash cloth and apply the Armadillo in a circular motion from the tub, on to the cloth, then apply to the slide. Wait for Armadillo to haze up, then buff off with dry cloth. Repeat one more time.

This is what I do and it works well of me. Hope this helps.
