Old School, when will new mags for the XD-45ACP be available. Any word? By the way, thanks for the quick delivery on the XD-40SC spacer/mag sets.

If I had a dime for every time I was asked this question.

To be honest, it is up to SA. We have them on order, we are just waiting for SA to release orders. I was told we would have them by the end of the month, possibly next week.

Fantastic! I need at least two, maybe three. Planning on using the 45 for IDPA/USPSA. Today I shot my first IDPA match, but had to use my 40SC since it was the only one I had enough mags for. Is there any way to get an email notification the minute the XD-45 mags become available? Or should I just check in at pistol-gear regularly? I signed up for notification when the .40 mag with spacer was back in stock, but never got an email. Another question-I have the HK P2000 .40 with 12-rd. mags. I know the mags on sale at P-G are 10-rds. What is the difference? Longer spring? Maybe snip the spring to make a 12 rounder out of the 10? Thanks for taking the time to respond. And thanks for the great service and quick customer contact. That means a lot, and is a seemingly a forgotten thing with a lot of businesses today. You guys are doing all the right things! I suspect the follower is the 10 round mags are different than that of the 12 rounders. That said, I am not sure, perhaps someone else knows the answer. For range use, 10 round mags at $8.50 each is a helluva of a deal.

Regarding notification on the 45ACP mags, I will post on XDTalk when they arrive. I will also do the best I can to let those who e-mailed us know they are in. We have a lot of interest and no easy way of notifying folks.

I ordered the 45 ACP mags from SA the same day I picked up my gun. I was told then that they would ship that week.....not entirely true I found out!

I called last week and demanded to have a straight answer since I had read of some here who had already purchased some from local dealers.

I was put on hold "while they tried to find and answer"....I finally got tired of sitting there and hung up thinking that I would be lucky to even see mags from SA (they were certainly quick on charging my card, though).

All of a sudden I receive an unexpected package from SA in the mail....and what to my wondering eyes did I behold???? Not the two mags I ordered...no sireeee! What I found staring me in the face was FOUR ACP mags and a little note showing that they had only charged me for the original two!

All it better now...I forgive SA for keeping me on hold!

Just thought I'd pass along some new info on the XD-45 mags. I called Chris Whittaker at Whittaker Guns and he has a shipment of 60 coming in today. I bought 3. I called SA to cancel my order there. Today I got a call from Beth at SA saying that the mags shipped out to me yesterday. So, the word is they're shipping out now.

Yes. I received the 2 mags I originally ordered from SA yesterday. I should receive the other 3 I ordered from Whittaker tomorrow.
