New Recoil Spring from Pistol Gear

Just got a new #22 recoil spring from Pistol Gear. I am just wondering why it is about 1/2 inch longer than the #22 recoil spring I got when I ordered a Don's guide rod and spring combo?? Anyone?

It's going to shorten once it settles from the tension.

Possibly the old one is shorter due to being worn out? Don perhaps could enlighten us on this one!

Yes they quickly "shorten" up, then stay good for a while.

I received your e-mail. We sent the correct holster. The body of that rig is for the XDSC, however the Service model will also fit it as noted on the store page. The holster has an open bottom. The muzzle of the Service model will extend about 1/2 from the bottom of the holster, which is not a problem in most cases. The trigger guard will be completely covered, if you insert the XD completely. We have a lot of customer using that same holster with the Service model, and they seem to be happy with it.
