Pearce +2 extensions
Are the +2 extensions sturdy enough to be dropped on? I want to know if they will take the abuse of being dropped on concrete, dirt, etc.. and still stay attached to the mag body.
Thanks. |

I would say so, yes. They are quite sturdy for the average shooter.

I cannot contest to concrete but I'd dropped mine enough in the dirt during USPSA matches without issue. They're a bit scratched, but that's to be expected.
Due to the size of the extended floorplate that these contain, once the actual floorplate is "popped" into the baseplate, its not going anywhere.

Thanks for the info guys. I just ordered a Bar-Sto magwell and these seem to be the ticket for me. I'm not looking for extra capacity..I'm just looking for an extension so I can insert the mag in the gun easier. As as it's sturdy and locked into place I'll be okay.
