my XD40SC finished?

probably not. so far, ive had green/green tritium TFOs installed, the slide hard chromed by Tripp Research, INC. and the barrel/guide rod polished by Todd at Customized Creationz. im still interested in getting trigger work done and theres a small possibility that ill be crayon modding the XD-40 engraving on the left side in black. but as of now /twitch... its done! kinda sorta...

here are the finalists from the photo shoot last night lol

Blazer Brass and Winchester FMJs for practice and Gold Dot JHPs for self-defense

can't do without the Pearce grips

i need to buy some polish for the barrel wear you can see here

for some reason, the barrel sits a tad low in the slide. any ideas why this is?

proper trigger safety!

night shot enhanced via Photobucket's editor

this is my first and only gun right now, so im kinda proud of it next on "the list," a Mossberg shotty!

well, it was at Tripps for a couple of months because they have so many orders. so i havnt really had the gun that long, but i go when i can and have probably put 500+- rounds through it. i love shooting it and have only had one FTF.

btw, many thanks to Tripp Research and Todd. their work is phenomenal and very professional!

Man that hard chrome looks nice! I think the barrel sits that way to allow room for it to tilt during cycling.
