Nice! I usually don't like the Earth/Stainless combo, but that looks really good on your gun.

One nice thing about the color of the frame... if you are using it for carry than if the handle or something poked out and was visible for a split second, it may not be as obvious as an evil black gun.
Nice setup.

Like I said- the pics really don't seem to look as good as the gun does in person.
The frame color isn't dark earth. It's a different color. Got to shoot the gun for the first time tonite in our Tuesday night IDPA match. Shot about 6 stages with it. Everyone there really liked the gun. It shoots really nicely, but I'm so hard-wired into my other Springerized XD that I'm gonna have to get used to this one. The different sights, slide release position and slightly different trigger feel threw me off a little bit. The Dawson fiber-optic front and target rear sight combo is what a lot of the top shooters are using. I'll be staying with them. No more searching for the "perfect" sight set. The XD Guys slide release is a joy, but I kept resting my thumb on it and the gun wasn't going into slidelock part of the time. It works great. The rearward corner is a bit sharp on the thumb. Not bad though. The ease of operation of the slide release is worth it. I might smooth that upper rear corner out a bit. The look and feel of that snakeskin stippling is as nice as anything I've ever seen. I'm extremely pleased with the gun.

I think there was a post on here a while back with pics of the IonBond coated mags. It's definitely a different look and more stealthy than the shiny steel mags.
It's also a fairly noticable difference how the gun looks with a mag in it. The black mag bottom makes a difference. I'll have to post pics with a mag in and showing the polished barrel soon-
