Meet "Lola" - the newest addition to the family
She is a show girl. I adopted her this afternoon. I used my wife's steam mop to blast the cosmoline off. some parts (like the front hand guards) and surroundings were bad, the rest of the gun was pretty clean. My WASR came with 2 30rnd mags, bayonette, strap (which sux), ammo pouch, tool kit and a trigger lock - $425 + government thievery.
I picked up 100 rounds of ammo for $20 also. I cannot wait to fire it - probably tomorrow of friday. She leans up against my desk, loaded and vigilant. My upgrade plans are a new grip, compensator, sling and eventually a scope/flashlight.

it'll be interesting firing a pre-ww2 soviet rifle along with a post ww2 soviet style rifle. The Nagant fires an artillery shell compared to an AK round...

Nice find. I've kinda' had my eye on one of those, and if I didn't already have an SKS, I'd definately be shopping. Nothing wrong with the AK.
