My Cowboy Shooter

Ruger Blackhawk .45LC. Took it to the range today. Put 50 rounds through it, lots of fun to shoot this thing! Very accurate at 7yds, put five out of six rounds on paper at 65ft with two in the red, not bad for iron sights, shooting unsupported, and for my first time shooting it.

.45 Colt is a great round, if you reload, you can work up some nice loads for hunting.

I was wondering if this round would be strong enough to bring down deer in AZ.

I am definetly going to reload this round, $28.50/50rds is a little steep! I'm sure I can make up the cost of buying a progressive reloader pretty quickly with this one. Especially since I'll be reloading .45ACP as well.

Nice! I have to add one to my collection. I love Ruger revolvers anyway and want a good single action.

I can't begin to express how much I hate you. I want to take my Vaquero and put a Bird's Head grip and a Bisley hammer on it.

I really like the looks of the gun fighter models. I think they are the same length barrel as yours.
