Sweet looking pic.....

ive got a question though:

does a suppressor make the pistol easier to shoot????? or just does it cut down on the sound of the round going off?????

ive never shot a suppressed pistol and was just wondering......

again, nice guns ya' got there....

This is what you need to do for soundless close contact, 1/2 the normal powder gives entry power at close up without the sound, second drill your bullet till 1/2 way down with a drill press pour in mecury and cap with wax or superglue.

When a bullet is fired it breaks the sound barrier, thats the load bang, what a suppressor does is it slow the bullet down to just above or just under the sound barrier, it makes the barrel longer so that the combustion is dipursed more effeciantly therefor reduced recoil. Draw back is the only bullets that can be effectively suppressed or silenced are the smaller rounds like 9mm, .22 and so on; you can put a suppressor on a .40 or .45 but it really wouldn't be effective at suppressing the sound. The other draw back is, while reducing the speed it reduces the distance the bullet can be accurately fired, especially with a .45 because it is only traveling at approx 850 fps anyway (give or take, depending on the load) , so you would have to be pretty close to your target.
