Duracoated XD
here is my XD with WWII OD duracoat.
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm now contemplating painting the slide some shade of dark earth, but Im not sure yet. as for now, I am extreamly happy with how this turned out. I had originaly wanted an OD xd, but i think I like the look of this better. |

The more hardener you use the shinier it gets as well. I usually mix 2 Tablespoons to 1/2 teaspoon of hardener to keep my matte finish colors matte. Actually this is the ratio suggested by Duracoat to keep color sheen as intended... use less make it more dull, use more to make it more shiny.
