It’s an AJ/Ciener Kit in combination with BlackDog® magazines.

BlackDog 27 round “Full-Size” magazine

How dies that magazine work? I have the same conversion kit and the only magazine that works is the stock Ciener one. Picked up a 30 rnd from cheaper than dirt and it works like "DIRT"

I have not had any issues with the (27) round BlackDog Mag’s, the only trouble I have had is with “cheap ammo” i.e. Rem 550 and Federal 550 Value Packs.

here’s a youtube video that I uploaded of me shooting this same combination on “Full Auto”

youtube web link to >>> Full Auto SBR w/ AJ-Ciener Kit

this SBR ran like a “sewing machine” all day long at a .22 RimFire event that I attended a couple of month ago

here's the story >>> I spent most of a Sunday afternoon at a .22LR shoot in Pe Ell, WA. at a rifle range south of my location; this event was call “Rim-Fire-a-palooza-bash-fest-ish” and was put on by a few of the guys over on the Arfcom Washington Hometown Board and it was a pretty cheap way to have some serious fun!

after driving 145 miles south I got to the range around 09:30 and the event started directly at 10:00, I started off my day shooting a Remington 597 and then moved to my AR15 AJ/Ciener kit.

the Rem-597 ran flawlessly for the most part; other than an occasional ‘hick up’ due mostly to the cheap Federal® rimfire ammunition.

as you can see the range was setup with (1/4in. to 1/2in.) thick iron plate chickens, ducks, rams and rabbits painted white and are in various sizes ranging from 2in to about a foot tall and the distances on the three different courses range from about 50yrds out to 100yrds.
posted in error ... wrong room :naaa:
we would shoot for about 45min. or until all of the targets were laying on the ground and then the RM (range master) would call out for a cease-fire and turn the youngsters loose to run out ‘down-range’ to restage the targets again.

we shot for 2-3 hours and then broke for a midday lunch and had some good eats; hamburgers, hotdogs and chili; then once everyone had a bite to eat we got back to shooting once again.

during the course of the day I got offered to shoot a GSG-5 and a ‘Full-Auto’ SBR with an AJ/Ciener conversion unit installed … it was the highlight of my day

Finished my 22/45

I purchased my Ruger 22/45 around the turn of the year. I shot it and enjoyed it. It is definitely a fun little pistol, but the grip was too dang skinny for me. I set out to find a grip solution that would more closely resemble the feel of my XDs. That is when I ran across the 1911 grip mod. Basically you sand down the frame and built in grips and then drill for and install 1911 grip bushings in the frame so that you can add 1911 grip panels. While I had everything apart I figured that I would add a few upgrades: VQ Adjustable Target Trigger, VQ Sear, VQ Extractor, MK II Hammer Bushing (to remove the MKIII magazine disconnect), and the "Slingshot" mod. I also added a HiViz front sight. Everything turned out great! It is so much more fun to shoot. The trigger is very light (~2lbs) and breaks like a dream.

Here is a grip comparison pic with my XD SC on the right.

If anyone is looking for a 22 pistol, these are hard to beat!
