Thanks y'all. I did get a new camera this month for an upcoming trip to Disneyworld with the family. The camera is a Canon PowerShot A720 IS which is a sub $200 8MP camera with digital image stabilization and 6X optical zoom and I have been very impressed with the quality I can get on macro shots and outdoor shots in general. It's not perfect but not bad at all for the $178 I paid for it.

 those shots look better than the ones we would get with our school supplied $1000 Nikons. No fair. Why did i ever think photography would be a good carer choice! Ugh! |
