That looks crazy. Was it a Witness? What's been done?

It started life as a compilation of parts Henning Wallgren had. Essentially a Witness/Tanfoglio frame and slide. He sent it over to Rich at Canyon Creek who built the titanium 4 port comp to Henning's specs, cut the frame down, cut the lightening slots in the slide and fit the barrel to the slide. It then went back to Henning who put in his latest EGW hammer and sear, all of Henning's bells and whistles including his new aluminum grips. I had the C-more mounted to a Barry mount. Very easy to pick up the dot and no concerns about offset at close head shots. It is a true PITA to zero though as the windage screw is tucked in right next to the frame.

Angus is still working on developing an open TS. His Champion framed open gun looks pretty damn cool though and he won Spring Steel out at Rio with it. I was over at his shop though and he was looking at my gun. Also was nice enough to try to chrono a few rounds for me. I warned him I hadn't sighted the dot in yet but he thought it would be okay. He almost killed his chrono with the first shot. There wasn't a second shot.

I have actually volunteered for it. These are only 60 day rotations and I think they are relatively easy. A couple of 135s is much better than 8-10 130's. It also helps keep families closer together for longer periods. The more I go the less younger kids have to stress their new wives.

Plus they pay for away matches and ammo!!!!
