i shot one of these a while back with the 3in 410 , wow thats a freakin hand full , you know how a small shotgun reciol is well put it all in your one hand

Which round kicks the most? I thought any shotgun with a barrel less than 18" was illegal? How far will it shoot before the shot pattern gets too big?
