Are these BEs as good as people make them seem? I've been seeing a couple threads on them as of late.

But to be fair Ed - The first comment was just priceless (on the title) and then the army guy made a comment and I changed it to Baby Eagle Pourn.

Nonetheless - thanks for the title change, I am glad (and continue to hope) that it doesn't turn the thread emo and thus spun into the dark chasm known as locked threads.

No offense to anybody - it was a theme and all in fun.

Laz - I am happy - I got it from somebody here who actually used it (versus ... ummm.. I don't know - refinishing it and framing it

).

Smooth trigger - breaks great - hefty for recoil compensation - easy to take down - the only oddity is racking the slide, it just feels different.

I dig - I think it is one of those different strokes kinda thing.

I had one a while back, Laz- full-size steel 9mm. It was a sweet shooter! I regret selling it, but had to if I wanted my AR. The BE never gave me any problems; it was heavy, but made shooting it a lot nicer as the recoil, while already a 9mm, was really reduced. And the thing was a tack driver! Super accurate. The only thing, IIRC, that bugged me was the slide release lever. It always felt out of reach, and my hands aren't too small. The slide mounted safety has never bothered me, but for some people it does. I had the black model, but if I could find one like this Brushed Nickel I'd pick it up again!!
