With that being said check out my new long slide Glock 17L I just picked up a half hour ago. I absolutly love it!!!! From what ive heard only 3000 were made this run and I got one!!!!

Its a nice long barrel (6.02in/153mm to be exact) 9mm target gun.

By the way if you look what the glock is sitting on you will still see my dedication to springfield

Im not scared to say it, I like glocks.... Yea I said it.... So what.... lol

Wasn't aware of a long slide version.
Do I see a coffin cut on top of the slide? Did it come that way from the factory?

Yes you do, it is factory cut that way. Its pretty nice, it fits my hand perfect.

I like Glocks too, just not as nearly as much as XD's. If funds were available I'd own one already.
There is definitely more options with Glocks; slim line, compact, long slide...

Well the cool thing about it to is that ive known for awhile that I would own a Glock 17L, it was just a matter of "when". So for the past 2 years ive been sorta collecting Glock 17 magazines, not over extreme but would just purchase one here and there when I could, so anyways Im pretty well stocked up on mags for it, plus it came with two more.

Im not sure, but the reason I wanted the Glock 17L was for a target practice range gun only. So this pistol fell into that catagory for me, it has a nice long 6.02inch barrel that is accurate as all hell and also is chambered in 9mm. I love most all calibers, but prices these days on ammunition has sorta discouraged me away from anything else but a 9mm for target. Im not kidding you that when I say I cant afford anything else besides a .22 and a 9mm these day, its no joke.

I think I made a wise choice. Im very happy with this pistol and on top of everything its some what of a rare model

Nice gun... nothing wrong with 9. Out of a long barrel like that those little bastards are gonna be screamin. I love XDs but I'm thinkin about pickin up a Glock 27 myself.
