What do you mean by new rail spring??? You mean the little hook looking thing inside the holster that's not the lock or do you mean does it rattle while in it??

Also your lucky you live far away or i would be begging to shoot that winchester model 1200 12gauge...My mouth is watering...

Just another pump shotty. Aftermarket for it is kinda small compared to the 870 also.

Yeah if you look in there in the stock holsters is a little "hook". The holster is kinda loose on the gun so it rattles around and bounces around in the holster a lot. If you contact Blackhawk they will send you a replacement rail spring free of charge that will snug the holster right up and fix most of the rattling/moving problems.
