I have the exact same setup. Still getting the leather broken in so that it doesn't dig into me so much. Maybe I'll shower with it !!!

I thought about the shower but not to break it in

I lowered both clips one notch after these pictures and it is WAY more comfortable and it was already the most comfortable holster I have worn to date.

Have you done that yet? I lowered mine because the bottom of the leather was catching a little on the side of my thigh just under the hip pocket of my jeans. Once I lowered it, the thing felt like a chamois pad from that point on.

I wear it right about 3:45 or so.

I do not. I gave a review (sort of) in the I took the Crossbreed Plunge thread I started in the accessories section.

It's typically TMI to say it but it's pertinant to my opinion of the comfort level of this holster. I go commando and have since I was 12 years old so this holster is against my bare skin the whole time.

I wore it straight through for 5 hours last night and all day today at Sportsman's Warehouse, Cabelas and to lunch.

It never felt tacky or sweaty. More than if it weren't there aganist my hip but it was insignificant IMHO. You know you're wearing it there but you don't say to yourself "this thing is sweaty or moist."

I really love this holster and I was very sceptical before I ordered it. It may not be the prettiest holster in the world but the function is way more than the sum of its parts. I never thought I'd own Kydex but it's the Kydex that makes this holster work so well. Not only is the split leather comforftable on my skin but it's also the easiest holster I have ever drawn from or reholstered. Ever, so far.

Another observation worth noting is that I almost don't know I'm even wearing this holster when it's on but the gun is not in it. I was sitting in my TV chair with the gun on the counter and I consciously paid attention to how it felt and it literally was almost not there in my mind.

Here is the gist of what I wrote in the other thread:

And I have to admit, this holster is everything they are cracked up to be. I'm not going to make this a Supertuck is everything thread so I won't perpetuate my opinion after this beyond a clear recommendation anytime someone asks about holsters but I have to say this holster is so comfortable I forget I have it on when I'm standing. I'm really surprised how well it works. I wore it for 5 hours tonight.
  • Mine is black
  • Quick Clips
  • They have no dye on the back
  • The clips fit both 1.5" and 1.25" belts great. The 1.25" belts felt just as secure as the 1.5"
  • The gun fits fantastically. Not too tight and not too loose.
  • This is typically TMI but it's pertinant to my opinion of this holster's comfort. I go Commando. I have since I was 12 years old or so. I wear my shirts untucked. So in a nutshell, this holsters was against my skin the whole time. Even under these circumstances this holster is amazingly comfortable.
  • I wore it right around 3:45. I like it there a lot for overall use. Great for draw and reholstering reach, great for sitting comfort, even in my truck. Just plain comfortable all around!
The bottom line is it's very difficult to compete with this holster.

It is a Pearce extension. I bought two for two carry mags.

I can't remember how much. I want to say $9.95 or something like that.

It's the only way to go.

Here are some pictures of the SC, Service and CZ P-01 together for comparison. You'll also notice why the P-01 is considered one of the best carry 9mm's you can buy. The combination of size, reliability, weight and accuray is superb. Mine hase Meprolights on it:

When you say you lowered the clips one notch, are you saying that you actually raised the holster itself by lowering the clips ?

What I mean is I moved the quick clips up a hole which lowers the ride of the holster. The bottom of the leather was catching on the crease between my hip and thigh so by lower the ride of the holster about a 1/2" I resolved that issue.
