Well I went to go see him today in the hospital and he is doing ok. They had to remove his ring finger and they pushed his pinky finger next to his middle and closed the hole up. He will regain full use of thumb index and middle fingers. And im not sure what round went through his hand he said it came in a grey and red box? He said he thought it was federal, if anyone cared what round did that damage.

Yes! I also remember that post. It was within a few months of me joining the forum. Every time I handle any gun that guy’s story goes through my head.

I’m e-mailing this pic to a few friends that are not members of the forum, never can be too safe.

It looks like the bullet took quite a bit of bone with it which would make the hole larger. I cant imagine that he will ever have full use of that hand again. Another case of you have to be smarter than the gun. And judging from the pic he wasn't.
