.223 + Cell Phone

This is why cell phones should be nice and not piss off their owners. After a short 27 months, my old cell phone kicked the bucket. And it pissed me off cuz I didnt' want to have to buy a new phone. So what else do you do with a defunct portable communication device? You fill w/ some .223 at the range!





Best part was, after all was said and done, it still lit up when the power button was pushed.

ive never had a problem with samsung...but i do have 4 Motorola's that will be seeing some range time this spring.

thats for the great idea....im gonna shoot them up and then send them back to motorola.

I am a firm believer in samsung phones. Mine has taken a unexpected swim in the lake with me (fell out of the boat), been filled with sand and concrete from work and dropped plenty and it still works! The camera stopped working after the swim and speaker phone speaker makes some weird noises after the swim as well. However it's still functional and I use it every day.

I've got a couple old phones that may be target practice soon as well.

Did that to my Razor, but the 7.5 swiss I used did not leave me with enough of a corpse to keep as a trophy.
Motorola Razor = Worst phone ever.

I'm assuming if you shoot through the keypad, that'd get it done. It's shot placement, remember?

Exactly.

I was really hoping for it to just blow up. But at those velocities, the 55gr rounds just punch right through it like it was paper.

motorola warranty work is a joke....ive been scammed by that B.S. 2 times...now i have 2 V3 razr's, and older motorola flip phone, and a Slvr L7.

Motorola sucks as a phone company period.

I can tell you the motorola razor on a clay throwing machine works perfectly.
