Cool!
Let us know how she runs. I'm always curious as to the reliability of Kel-Tecs. A 32 on the other hand may just piss some one off. All my pants fit baggy, heck I can drop a Glock 19 in my front jeans pocket and think nothing of it. I hate tight fitting clothes.

I trust my P32 with my life...and that of my family as well.
Mine is loaded with Speer Gold Dots (I can't recall the bullet weight). Tell me about the holster you have there...I currently have a very well worn Uncle Mikes #2 pocket holster and it is time for a new one!

So Flo, I picked up the holster at a local gun show this weekend. It's made by WRB. It's a hip pocket holster. Works really well and stays in your pocket when you draw. It's rubberized on the outside. Here is the link to their website: Holsters, gun holsters, shoulder holsters, concealed carry holsters, handgun shoulder holsters On another note I took it to the range today and was very impressed with how well it shoots. Damn .32 ammo is expensive as hell though! I ran through a box of WWB .32 auto and half a box of Reminton UMC. The UMC seemed more accurate to me but one of the rounds malfunctioned and the case failed to eject. I also ran a mag of Speer Gold Dot HP .60gr without any problem. Nice kel-tec! I want one... So tell me,what would be a good price on one? I know there are different Generations, which is best? I've always heard the older version is better.
Also, has anyone done that "fluff and buff" actually, I dont know if thats the term but I hear its where you buff the internals or something to that effect to make it more reliable? Does it really work? Im asking because the only time I shot a 32 kel-tec it jammed like every other shot!! and this kel-tec was this guys every carry gun

Silver State had 3 or 4 in stock last time I was there. Some P3At's and a .32 as well I think. I if I recall they were selling them for $279.00. I can't remember if there was a hard chrome there or not. I knowone was Parkerized. They had a couple P9's too.

As for the fluff and buff, first thing I did was take the gun apart and oil it since it was pretty dry. I didn't see any need to do much else. Everything looked good on the internals. I believe running a few boxes of ammo through it will break it in accordingly. Keeping the gun clean and oiled is crucial in my opinion. Lots of the reported guns failures seem to happen when guys are at the range shooting over 50 rounds. By this time the gun is sensitive to being dirty. In a real life confrontation the gun will more than likely be clean and there should be no problem in unloading a magazine in a BG. Because alot of people carry this gun in a pocket it will accumilate lint. That can cause failures too. Regular inspection and cleaning should remedy that. Also, from what I understand the 2nd generation guns are better. I always prefer the latest and greatest...... |
