In the movie "The Patriot", the guys are at the campfire and they are melting those little lead soldiers into bullets. It might be possible since they did it in a movie.

It's actually funny because I've seen this done. My roomy melted a large quantity of lead pipes.

i know a guy who does that all the time. he actually works at a tire shop. it works but its more work than id do. but hes kinda a tight wad

Wheel weights are a pretty common thing to use.

Alot of people cast their own bullets and all you have to buy is the bullet cast mold and the lead smelter pot. Wheel wieghts, pipes, and big scrap fishing sinkers are the most commom victims.

back 10 yrs ago a buddy an i did it a lot , takes a while to get a couple hundred cast its the sizing an lubin that sucks , but u can save money if you get the lead for free, small lee melting pot an a ladle and a mold , stinks up the whole house and surrandings for sure ,
